Somewhere between an artisanal boutique and textile gallery,

Fayakun was born out of a passion for grassroot artisan communities and textiles.

​

Later, it got inspired by and married to the eclectic uniqueness of the creative community in Goa that I found myself rooted in roughly about a decade ago.

 

Now, it is a place where you meet artistic clothing with quality craftsmanship, artisan made fabrics and deep, earthy hues for a unique, global creative lifestyle.

honors this delicious flavor of open, flea markets that serve small communities where personal connection thrives,  in contrast to the isolation created by set templates of a mainstream urban life.​​

As a deeply personal brand, it continues being shaped by the intense colors of my life, a commitment to mindful use of fabric and respect for every single human involved in its creation.

The aesthetic and styles carry impressions of various regional landscapes of India that I have spent time in, during my travels over the last two decades.

 Our Style : Distinct clothing for Singular People ​

​​​

​Our signature style is minimal, in deep Indigo hues with accents of leftover fabrics used as bold patchwork​. Our one of a kind contemporary clothing is elegant, comfortable and rooted in cultures across south east Asia.

​​​​

We seek to honor community, pre-industrialization aesthetic and holistic natural textiles. Hence, all our fabrics are pure, hand woven and natural dyed with traditional processes. Our prints use the Dabu process that uses wet mud for resist dyeing.

 

As they are the core of our story, our fabrics connect you with a tribal or rural community tucked away somewhere on this beautiful subcontinent.
