Fayakun is a space for clothing that is rare, uniquely personal and created with utmost presence. Where each piece is created to express the beauty of hand techniques and traditional textile skills in a tranquil, artistic aesthetic.
We are neither a fast brand nor big, but an authentic one.
From our studio in Goa, we bring forth the stories and crafts of real people from rural landscapes of India who create textile treasures, whom I meet and collaborate with, on my wandering abouts in search of gorgeous textiles.

About me
Not all those who wander are lost.

I grew up in a north Indian village among strong, self assertive old women, flat green fields & many inspiring stories.
Now, I try to play with my love of travel, design and textiles to create tangible stories that support rural women in gaining financial freedom.
I co-create textiles, collect & design one of a kind clothing & rugs or refashion, recycle, patchwork existing pieces.
Perhaps it is both, a nostalgia for that simple yet meaningful connection with people as well as the pain of growing up in a ruthlessly patriarchal society that vaguely leads me to do what I do.
